"Our way is simple, young traveler. We only take what Lady Earth provides of us, and we give of ourselves back to the land. We travel by night because the stars are a blessing of fortune upon our people, and while we may not know our final destination, the guidance of Lady Moon will always direct us true. We take rest during the day because the grace of Sire Sun recharges our souls, and burns away our sorrows.

We raise our children to respect humility, honor forgiveness, and encourage generosity. People ask us how we can call ourselves a village if we never take up permanent residence. To'Ana Le is not defined by our shacks, but is present by the simple fact that we are here, together. People come and go, but they take a piece of To'Ana Le with them, and a part of their memory remains with To'Ana Le.

To'Ana Le is a way of life. Maybe the ones who see us as outsiders and plot within their castles thoughts of destruction should take pilgrimage as a part of To'Ana Le to understand that hatred will never beget true happiness. It would only take one year for To'Ana Le to change their hearts.

To'Ana Le is love. To'Ana Le is forgiveness in the face of the most awful mistakes. To'Ana Le is us, and we are not weak. We live and die by our compassion."
