"My name is Paulie Hart." The fat man stated, offering a handshake. "Most people around here just call me Papa.

"I won't be calling you that, Paulie." Amy said, ignoring the friendly gesture. "You can get Star now, I'm ready to get on with this mission." The knight glanced over her shoulder for a moment to inspect Kemm, who looked as annoyed as ever. Amelys turned her attention to her water.

Papa didn't seem to mind the rejection. "Right away, milady."

"Hi! My name is Karyn Hart, but most people just call me Star!"

A metallic stein previously filled with water rolled around on the floor of the tavern, its contents draining in between the small cracks of the wooden floor. On one side of the water puddle was a slackjawed knight, who had dropped her drinking stein in shock after turning to see who had spoken to her. That shock quickly turned into rage as she realized where the words came from.

On the other side of the puddle stood a teenage girl with jet black hair pulled into two tight straight ponytails at either side of her head. She wore a bright red long-sleeved shirt with the shoulders cutout and a bright gold heart in its center. The shirt was form fitting, and the girl seemed to have confidence in all of her curves. A turquoise skirt cut off just above the knee, and her muscular thighs were uncovered. Knee-high white leggings adorned her calves, and slippers stitched to look like sheep heads were on her feet. A pair of round-wire frame glasses were on her face in front of confident green eyes. An obnoxious looking bunny plush was on the top of her head, worn like a hat. Even more bizarre were the girls choice of weapon; a pair of heavy looking plate gauntlets on her arms. One of these arms was extended in a handshake towards Amelys.

Amelys furiously stared down the girl in front of her who had just introduced herself as her new mission partner.

"Kemm, get up. Were leaving right now." The knight seethed, making no attempt to hide her dissatisfaction. She brushed aside the outstretched gauntlet hand, snatched up her polearm and made for the door.
