(Party Formation_ -- "My name is Paulie Hart." The fat man stated, offering a handshake. "Most people around here just call me Papa. "I won't be calling you that, Paulie." Amy said, ignoring the friendly gesture. "You can get Star now, I'm ready to get on with this mission." The knight glanced over her shoulder for a moment to inspect Kemm, who looked as annoyed as ever. Amelys turned her attention to her water. Papa didn't seem to mind the rejection. "Right away, milady." --- "Hi! My name is Karyn Hart, but most people just call me Star!" A metallic stein previously filled with water rolled around on the floor of the tavern, its contents draining in between the small cracks of the wooden floor. On one side of the water puddle was a slackjawed knight, who had dropped her drinking stein in shock after turning to see who had spoken to her. That shock quickly turned into rage as she realized where the words came from. On the other side of the puddle stood a teenage girl with jet black hair pulled into two tight straight ponytails at either side of her head. She wore a bright red long-sleeved shirt with the shoulders cutout and a bright gold heart in its center. The shirt was form fitting, and the girl seemed to have confidence in all of her curves. A turquoise skirt cut off just above the knee, and her muscular thighs were uncovered. Knee-high white leggings adorned her calves, and slippers stitched to look like sheep heads were on her feet. A pair of round-wire frame glasses were on her face in front of confident green eyes. An obnoxious looking bunny plush was on the top of her head, worn like a hat. Even more bizarre were the girls choice of weapon; a pair of heavy looking plate gauntlets on her arms. One of these arms was extended in a handshake towards Amelys. Amelys furiously stared down the girl in front of her who had just introduced herself as her new mission partner. "Kemm, get up. Were leaving right now." The knight seethed, making no attempt to hide her dissatisfaction. She brushed aside the outstretched gauntlet hand, snatched up her polearm and made for the door.

("World Map Theme - Animist Side) -- "...The Ley Lines are not children's toys to be flung around without concern. They use the essence of life and death, and to be granted the ability to wield them come with a great weight upon the soul..." ~ "Armaments and Magic", Chapter XXI, Professor Laythein Monrose The Great Elemental Quate forever disrupted the flow of energy through planet Taeryn. It groaned, then screamed defiance as an ugly gash ripped its way through the planet's torso; life essence shooting from the broken earth like fireworks. The decimation of the continents that lay in the path of the quake was impossible to predict, and countless lost their lives to the disaster. Even more lost their abilities as an Animist. Fire. Air. Wind. Water. Life. Time. Gravity. Death. Eight distinct patterns of Ley Lines course through the planet of Taeryn. When a person is born, he may attune to a Ley Line, and once he realizes that attunement, he will be able to manipulate that element. Before the Great Quake, everyone was born under a different Ley Line. There was balance and prosperity. In the disaster, the Ley Lines that crossed over the path of the Great Quake were severed, and those people who were born under those specific Ley Lines suddenly lost their powers as Animists, people who had mastered the power of their elemental Ley Line sign. As Man needs a scapegoat for terrible occurrences, these unfortunate men and women were branded as outcasts and heretics and were blamed for causing the Great Quake. On the west side of the World Gash, they Ley Lines remain largely unaffected by the Great Quake. The residents on this side of the world are still able to manipulate Ley Lines to cast spells of their elemental attunement. People who live in small towns manage life simply; taking only what they need and using their animist powers to protect their loved ones and to perform chores. Larger cities are under a social caste system based on bloodline and financial status. Greed and corruption, while behind the scenes, run rampant in most large towns. West Taeryn is heavily dotted with foilage and mountain ranges of all shapes and sizes. Forests are not limited to just trees however; Mushroom and Crystal forests are just as common. Rivers flow freely throughout every portion of the continents.Monsters in this region are generally associated with the nearby Ley Lines, as they are born under a sign as well. One odd thing about West Taeryn is in areas of high concentrations of Ley Line energy, thick mist will gather that can be so concentrated that it will completely obscure the vision and in some cases, even asphyxiate if the person cannot find fresh air. In addition during the nights, this same Ley Line concentration blocks the view of the stars in the light sky. The only celestial bodies that are visible are the two moons Retia and Faust, which under high moonlight conditions, will reflect a purple haze down onto West Taeryn.

(Village of Waterfalls) -- "Mommy says that my great great great great granddaddies were being chased by bad mens, so they prayed real hard for a safe place to live, so the Goddess came down from her big cloud fortress in the sky and poked her finger into this biiiiiiiig group of rivers! And when she did, it made a big hole in the water, and all the rivers turned into waterfalls!" "Well, you know what I did? I asked mommy why the water didn't just fill up the hole that the Goddess poked in, and you know what she said? She said that she made some of the waterfalls magic, and they flow upwards instead of downwards! When we went to Pawpaw's house, I saw them! Mommy and Daddy and my house are in the middle where all the "down" waterfalls are, and Grammy and Pawpaw's house are on the edge where the "up" waterfalls go, and we get to take the float-boats to ride the waterfalls up to his gardens!" "You wanna know a secret? Mommy told me that the Goddess protected us by making it look like a really real river if you're looking at it from the top, so monsters can't get us! Isn't that neato? But you can't tell nobody, because she made me promise, and I'll get in trouble. Promise you won't tell? You better promise!" ~Fawnie O'Malley, Daughter of Dr. Shea O'Malley and Mrs. Raylynn O'Malley, 6 Years old This quaint town lies within a deep valley surrounded by many waterfalls, which create a rich river environment that supports the villagers who make their home here. Travel from the edge of the valley to the town is orchestrated by a pulley system that lowers visitors safely to the main island. This peaceful community of fisherman and traders employ a unique system to travel between the island communities; drawbridges are used to lower paths between each island to ensure safe travel on the rushing waterfall waters. Saifa Village has only one law, "Learn to understand, and accept strangers as you would your family." This town has never known hardship or war, and thrive on the strong bonds the villagers have for each other.

(Save your game) -- The knight, her bones weary, shrugged off her heavy armor. Behind her, Kemm used his innate fire animist ability to start a small bonfire. The girl she'd met in town with the strange gauntlet arm was making preparations to cook. Amelys, even with her head buried in knights armor as she slipped it off, could still smell the pungent herbs. It was absolutely beautiful here in this secluded forest. After days of monotonous mountains and stubborn monsters, the clearing was a welcome respite from the hard travel the three had endured so far. The trees were thick all around, but she still could see the stars dotted in the azure blanket of the night sky above, like silver needlework on a celestial quilt. The full silver moon stood out like a big metal shiny button. The knight, finally out of her heavy armor, finally was able to feel the night breeze on her arms and legs. It was nice to be in civilian clothes instead of the stuffy metal can her body was accustomed to being wrapped in. Glancing over her shoulder, she stole a smile as she watched Kemm and Star argue over who would pitch the tent. The knight mused to herself that after the meal, especially on a peaceful night like this, all three of them would sleep wonderfully to the lullaby of the night birds.

(Random encounter battle theme) -- "We can still control the elements of our birthright, while the other half of the world has to suffer without. However, that does not mean we are better off. Taeryn is a beautiful place, but hidden within those lush forests, grand mountains, and rushing waters, there do lie evil beings that consider us civilized beings as nothing more than a meal. Be wary. No one who travels this world is safe from them, eventually we will meet these beasts, and we must do battle. It is fate. Trust in it, and your blade, and we can survive together." -Amelys DeTourrier, First Knight-Lieutenant of Phoenix Batallion of Ballacre

(Death of an NPC) -- "All my family has ever done was take. I cannot stand this namesake no longer." ~ The Marcellus house is pure greed. It's rich and fortunate and stingy. Lady Astoria Marcellus paid very well to lay with the most handsome of men in order to bear a son worthy to pass the house of greed to. She would teach him the ways of swindle and shady shopkeeping, and have him learn the ways of deceit and backstab. She had no other family--they were all killed or....removed. She needed a heir. Someone to continue on the legacy she created on the blood and backs of men she had conquered. When Llewelyn was born, she had the man who fathered him killed, and promptly announced his lineage publicly. She did her best to raise him in her likeness, but the boy took after his father, a kind but hearty blacksmith. Instead of greed, he learned compassion. Instead of deceit, he was truthful. When boy turned a man of nineteen, she had considered him a failure. However, she was taken by illness of the heart and was on her deathbed. Although his mother treated him as rotten as any other men, his kind heart would not allow him to hate her, and prayed to the heavens for a miracle to save her. One night, an angel answered his fervent prayer, and granted his wish---a salve that could repair her heart. However, upon seeing the evil in the soul of this corrupt dying woman, the angel hesitated to give him the salve. Llewelyn begged and begged, but the angel would not save someone who was so cruel. So the boy asked to strike a deal. In exchange for the salve, he would sacrifice his own life to save hers. The angel after much consideration agreed, and enchanted the salve. She explaned to the boy that if he rubbed this upon the chest of his ailing mother, his heartbeat would aid hers, and she would live, but he would die in her stead, but explained to him that it was too late...her soul was already on it's way to the Gates of Heaven where she would face her judgement. Llwewlyn raced to his mother, but she had passed. It was too late. The boy fell into a deep depression. The sad boy became a grieving man, who felt as if he had no purpose. He had a fortune of money around him, but he was alone. It was then he met a young girl who had wandered into one of his shops, tears streaming down her eyes, asking for a doctor. Sir Marcellus, curious, listened to her story. She explained to him that her mother was very sick, and she was poor and could not afford any more potions to ease her pain. Upon describing the ailment that befell her mother, Sir Marcellus realized that the same illness that claimed his own mother would soon claim the mother of this young girl. After a long moment of thought, The man stood, and asked for the name of the girl and her mother. With her response, Sir Marcellus retrieved the salve he'd kept for so long. With tears in his eyes and a smile on his face, he pressed the small crystal bottle into the ragged girls' hands. Sir Marcellus very quietly instructed the girl to massage this into her chest, and everything will be fine. The young girl thanked him through choked sobs, and ran to see her ailing mother.  -- A day later, Sir Marcellus mysteriously died of unknown reasons. In his will, he'd left the entire Marcellus fortune to a seemingly unconnected beggar woman and her small daughter.  They were the only two to attend his funeral. They were the only two people to ever give thanks to a Marcellus.

(World Map Theme - Mechanist Side) ---- This was it. Our ragtag group of adventurers finally crossed over the chasm the Great Elemental Quake tore through our world, and for most of us, this would be the first time seeing this side of Taeryn. The side that was rendered magicless and desolate, the complete opposite of what we were used to. The covered bridge seemed to lower agonizingly slowly. My eyes wanted to see how a world could function without the basic necessities of magic; how fauna and flora that thrive off of the living energy of this world could survive beyond the chasm. With a groan, the metal finally settled into place. I could see. Trees or grass, there was none, atleast not trees in the traditional sense. Shriveled up dusted over twigs that desperately tried to rise from the earth is what replaced them. The sky was a haze of a shade of brown I'd never seen before above me, like thin muddy water. The air was stagnant and dense, like opening the door to a house that had been abandoned for years. With hesitation I took a step off of the bridge and let my boot make contact with the dirt. A few more steps and I felt as if even our best nature mages back home could never make anything grow in this dead soil. I made the realization that our world severed of magic is just a lifeless husk. I then made the connection that people still live on this side of world and I wondered to myself how could that even be possible. My archer comrade's face was twisted with sadness. His home in the forest, this must be awful for him to see. "Only hope could keep a person alive in this chaos." I said under my breath.  Our party has the means to fix this world. We shall not dissapoint.

(Mobile Nocturnal Village) -- "Our way is simple, young traveler. We only take what Lady Earth provides of us, and we give of ourselves back to the land. We travel by night because the stars are a blessing of fortune upon our people, and while we may not know our final destination, the guidance of Lady Moon will always direct us true. We take rest during the day because the grace of Sire Sun recharges our souls, and burns away our sorrows. We raise our children to respect humility, honor forgiveness, and encourage generosity. People ask us how we can call ourselves a village if we never take up permanent residence. To'Ana Le is not defined by our shacks, but is present by the simple fact that we are here, together. People come and go, but they take a piece of To'Ana Le with them, and a part of their memory remains with To'Ana Le. To'Ana Le is a way of life. Maybe the ones who see us as outsiders and plot within their castles thoughts of destruction should take pilgrimage as a part of To'Ana Le to understand that hatred will never beget true happiness. It would only take one year for To'Ana Le to change their hearts. To'Ana Le is love. To'Ana Le is forgiveness in the face of the most awful mistakes. To'Ana Le is us, and we are not weak. We live and die by our compassion."

(Minigame Racing) -- Note: Gyrosprat racing is the minigame in my mock RPG. A jockey races on the back of a gyrosprat, a huge hulking creature that dwells on high ceilings of underground caverns. Jockeys race on a track carved out of the stone above as spectators watch from below. When gyrosprat racing was first created, it was regulated by rules and regulations for the safety of the geo-jockey and his steed, but as the races began to get more popular, more dangerous elements, such as attempting to dismount competing jockeys, started to come into play, as it garnered a better response from the crowd. Now, unchecked gyrosprat racing is a dangerous bloodthirsty sport which can easily result in the death of a jockey and his sprat. "I've been a Geo-jockey for 14 years kid. Up there, way up high on the track, I tell you, it's a feelin' like no other! As a teen, all I wanted to do was to weave through the stalactites on the ceiling, passing all the competition, hearing the crowd shout my name from below every time I crossed that finish line first. But it's not all rainbows and butterfly kisses. Its a bat-eat-bat world up there, and these new generation jockeys play for keeps, man. Only thing keepin' ya you from falling and splatting all over the cavern below is your wits and your sprat. It's all about trust. My gyrosprat, Adamant Thunder, yeah man...he's my best friend. I picked him out with my dad from a bunch of others that looked bigger and meaner and faster, but you wanna know why I picked Addy? Because when I looked into his eyes, I didn't see malice, or violence. I saw compassion. I knew if we developed a bond that only a geo-jockey and his sprat can build, that when it came down to it, he'd save my life over his own. That's why I gotta retire. There's jockeys out there who go through 5 or 6 sprats a season, because they sacrifice them to the cold stalagmites below. My last race, a guy who I've raced at least 20 times kicked me right off of my sprat, and if Addy hadn't fell with me and cushioned my fall, I'd be dead. We lost, he won, and I don't talk to him. It changes you....and never for the better. Addy got injured that day. Sure, he'll recover, but I'm not gonna put 'em through that again, I'm grateful for my sprat, and if he died for some sick person's entertainment, I'd never get over it. Yeah, it's a good time to retire. It was good times, but....its's not the same." ~Cid Maldo, Three time record holder Veteran Gyrosprat Jockey

(Lands hidden by mist) -- "The rain is our lifeline to the heavens, like the breath we take is the lifeline to our hearts. Mycel Forest 03:39
(Mushroom Forest) -- “…Sure, when they are the size of your hand, mushrooms don’t seem that scary. I mean come on, we eat them all the time, right? As a little kid, I used to live off of the little buggers! But you know THEY feed off of dead organic stuff, right? So what happens when the mushrooms are a hundred times bigger than you; they gotta eat too! …not to mention he weird colored mushrooms around these parts are poisonous. You don’t think its odd that animals avoid the big purple ones in Mycel Forest? That’s because those are the dangerous ones! They shoot out these paralyzing spores, and they wait for you to die, then they grow their offspring on you! It’s scary! Think about THAT the next time you eat some mushroom and leek soup! Here’s a tip, if you’re gonna go mushroom hunting, stay near the plain colored mushrooms. Get curious about any of the purple or yellow or striped or funny colored ones, and you’ll be feeding tiny mushroom babies with your dead body! You hearin’ me? As the saying goes, ‘plain is sane, bright is blight!’ But just between you and me, the striped ones dont really kill you, they just make you think you’re a dinosaur for a while. You want to have a good laugh at someone’s expense, mix in a little bit of it with someone’s food! I used to pull that prank all the time on my friends…hey where you goin? what do you MEAN I’m ranting!? That’s so RUDE, I’m not ranting at all, I’m just trying to help you out…don’t you take that tone of voice with me! What are you talking about?! Wait! I haven’t told you about the funny little pink mushrooms, those are the best! Come back!!” ~Aspen Brightfur, Animist sign of Air, resident of Mycel Village and tour guide of Mycel Forest

(Town in a bubble) -- (A letter delivered today reads as follows) "Dear Kristoph, Hey! How have you been? We're holding up here well. Generator's still holding, shield is still up...I really don't know how Jannie keeps it up with just a wrench...she's kind of awesome at making do with nothing, you know. We had a scare about a week ago, the generator was flickering and we werent able to get any oil to grease up the gears, and she used some old wax as a substitute while Lucas and Momo managed to get something better scrounged up, I think they used some old cooking grease or something! Geniuses they all are, but Jannie was so mad, haha! you know, having to fan heat on that wax so it wouldn't crud up the gears, it was scary then, but funny now....strange how that works. Generator works like a charm now, no problems since then. We're up to nine people--Ronnie rescued a wisp of a guy and his wife that were hiding in the old rundown robotics factory about a mile north from here. Was a bit shaken up but other than that, he's come round well. Strong hands, knows his way with a gun pretty decent. The lady's not bad either. I think they would be great for the perimeter team. Overheard their names were Jaylen and Jordee. Real cute couple, I hope they stick around here. The farm is producing well enough food so all we gotta do is just build another home for them, won't take long at all. 'Specially considering how dangerous it is outside of the bubble with all the monsters around. I'm doing okay. I play my guitar for everyone every night. It helps everyone forget that we're out here in the middle of nowhere with just a generator keeping us from the monsters outside. It's been running for about 9 months now with barely any fuel, and even though we all feel pretty safe, I dont like to think about what would happen if it just up and kicked it one day. Playing guitar helps everyone to not think about it, and focus on the good times we share with each other every day. We're becoming a pretty tight family.  Speaking of our population, before we got two more, Ronnie was thinking of calling us the "Resilient Seven", kinda like those knights we used to see when we were kids. Everyone else thought it was silly but truth be told I kinda liked it. Usually folks just come and go, so we're sure grateful when people stick around. Makes it not so lonely. We miss you dearly and can't wait for you to come back with the rescue team. It's like a piece of us is missing when you're not around, and the day you come walking back through that bubble to see us will be a wonderful day indeed, and personally, I can't wait for the day. Cheers and Divines blessed, Your 'Stupid Silly Bestest Best Friend Forevers', Danis Mos

(Cave of Crystals) -- ~Excerpt from the Research Journal of Prof. Lily Caera "...it was out of desperation and sheer luck that I found this cavern. The remainder of my crew was starving, physically and spiritually, and we needed hope. Due to an unforseen electrical storm, all of our scouting and navigation equipment was fried. It was only when they were no longer of use when we realized how much we relied on them. We were soon very much lost. Not too much longer after, we'd run out of energy to power our two exploration carts, and we were forced to scavenge on foot until we could find help. I am a geologist. My crew were researchers, scientists. We are not warriors. It wasn't long before we started losing our colleagues to the barren elements, or to packs of roaming monsters. Before long, it was only six of us, huddling together in the powerless cart, hoping nothing would come eat us in the night. No one dared to leave its safety. That is, until our rations were depleted. I had to do something. So I left. I vowed to find help, or die trying. I'd rather die being brave than as a coward, starving inside a hunk of metal while I wait for help that will never come. I'd walked for only about an hour when I noticed the shadows circling above me. I knew at once I was in danger, and my reflexes kicked in even before I heard the screech of the pack of winged monsters above me. There was nowhere to hide, save for a mountain's face a short run away. I was exhausted, tired, and I could have given up right there. but while they were motivated by a meal, I was motivated by my impending death and the fates of my remaining crew. I refused. I ran. My crew used to make fun of me because of my thin frame. How my breasts were small, and my barely above 5 foot frame could ever be scary. But that saved me that day, because I reached that mountain side, and a tiny sliver of an opening allowed me to escape those gnashing claws and death screeches from above. I felt the hot breath of one of those beasts on my leg as I just barely squeezed through the opening to my safety. I screamed in defiance. I cursed at those monsters, and shouted in glee. You won't eat me today! I will LIVE, for the sake of my remaining crew. I slumped against the wall, and for the first time gazed upon the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. I instantly recognized this as what the inside of a geode might look like, however, it was as if this entire mountain was filled with all of the mirrors and diamonds of the entire world. I gazed up to an endless ceiling of reflections and facets. the walls were lined with flowering formations of crystal, as if fireworks were frozen mid explosion and hung up as decoration. It seemed a hum of energy flitted in the air, and that was oddly calming to me, because even though I'd never experienced hearing a rock or mineral create sound without outside interference, it seemed....appropriate in this place. All of my years of studying the earth and rocks below me, and I'd never recalled finding anything as astonishing as this. I knew this place was safety. I recognized edible mushrooms all around, and specimens of common crystals we use routinely to charge our everyday gear was here in abundance. There were also a multitude of minerals and rock I'd never seen before...I wanted to get on my knees and inspect it all right at that very moment. But I had people to save. Research can come later. I stuffed as many mushrooms as I could into my satchel and hoped I could make it to my crew and lead them here. This was my chance to be more than a geologist,  I could be a hero. I WILL be a hero."

(City of Winter) -- "It is in solitude where we start to being to understand what is important. It was said I was born into this world in search of knowledge. As a child, I asked impossible questions. As a young man, I continued to ask those questions, and started to become frustrated I was not able to find the answers. It was beginning to become too much, and I decided one day to take a journey of understanding.  Every learned scholar knows of the ancient libraries of Astoria City, entombed in buildings covered in sleet and chill; books and manuscript so brittle by the cold it seemed the leather would crack and turn into shards of ice at the smallest touch. But I needed to know. I begged a merchant's caravan to take me. I braved the ice and the bitter cold seeking the wisdom of the world. For my own sake I must know. That was seventy three years ago. They call the section of the city the Solitude District, simply because of the quiet. Not everyone of this world has a thirst for knowledge like myself, so very often these ancient libraries remain untouched. Many months go by before I see anyone besides myself roam these halls of writings. It is of no matter. I prefer the quiet. Books come alive within my hands, and the knowledge pours from the pages through my fingers. Conversation and companionship are not required. These libraries are my home. I will die with this knowledge...yet it does not sadden me. I traveled the seas seeking this wisdom, and I found it. People from round the world seek me for answers, and I direct them to the books that I have read time and time again. I am the most learned man in the world. I, however, fear it has made me as cold as the ice that plagues this city." ~Maester Joachim Tully, Senior Librarian of Solitude District, Astoria City

Finality 03:44
(Cutscene after the Final boss has been defeated) -- It was done. The efforts and talents of the brave six had finally paid off, as the cacodemon lay dying at their feet. Defiantly, it screamed one last shriek before expiring. That shriek was the final key, unlocking a torrent of life and death energy the demon had been storing for millenia. Like a black wall, the miasma shot into the sky. This fight was not over. (0:00) The minions poured forth. There was no option to fight. No amount of bravery could protect the six heroes from an army of darkness. Escape was paramount. They ran, a legion of demons behind them, craving revenge for the death of their master. Before them was the rope ladder, extended from the sky. The Equation, their airship, hovered high above, unfazed by the dark energy swirling about the sky. With demons within mere inches of ending their existence, that rope ladder was the asylum. They barely made it.  (0:45) Professor Lily Caera, the scholar who's lifebind to Earth magic was critical to the party's success, swung from the rope rungs. Travelling along the sky, she fiercely tried to come up with any solution that could possibly handle the unimaginably large wave of dark energy and death washing over the world below her. No calculations, no equations, no experimental data.  It was hopeless. (1:17) Suddenly, an incredibly large shadow overtook them, and while it would seem that death would be imminent, the goblin Ashland, swinging wildly from the ladder a few yards above Lily shouted in immense joy. That shadow belonged to the entirety of Kokabe Island, the living jungle that saved their lives once before. (1:39) In a blast of wind and rush of life energy, the island exploded into pure energy and rushed down to devour the darkness. The darkness recoiled as if a child reached a hand into fire for the first time, but there was no escape. The life energy held the hopes and will of every living creature of the planet, and the will to live was very strong indeed. The jade energy enveloped the darkness until the entire world was completely covered. In an incredible display of sacrifice, the energy exploded into a massive explosion of light, vanquishing every trace of the dark energy. (2:00) The brave six, barely able to remain clutched to the rope ladder, steadied their gaze down to the world below. The brave party could visibly see the green from the arcanist side of the world slowly start to creep over to the Machinist side. Life was being restored to the once dead side of Broken Earth. There's an especially tender moment when Kemm, the firestarter child, finds his older brother alive and well in one of the towns consumed by darkness. It was then, the party realized and celebrated their success. They had won. (2:18) (This section is snapshots of the Equation flying over previously lifeless sections of the Machinist side of the world as life energy washes over it. Vegetation starts to grow, the sky transitions from the muddy brown to bright blue cloudy skies, and the residents start to slowly regain their magical abilities.) (2:48) (The cut scene transitions back to an aerial shot of the Elemental Scar, which is still very bare and lifeless. The camera zooms in closer, through clouds and sky and focuses in on a falling seed, which looks identical to the seeds which saved Ashland's life on Kokabe Island. The seed tumbles and falls until it reaches the bottom of the Elemental Scar. The dead body of the Cacodemon is seen smoldering in the background with green mist rising from it and dissipating. When the seed lands, a small amount of the mist seems to "recognize" the seed, and quickly envelops it. The final shot is a small sapling sprouting from the seed before the camera fades to black.)
